The reading technique, created by the philologist Ilya Frank, consists in working simultaneously with two texts: the original in a foreign language and a translation english to tamil. The latter is indicated in brackets along the text.
This method is suitable for continuing. People with the Beginner level can have a hard time with the abundance of unknown words. Another disadvantage is that there is little modern vocabulary in such books. Mainly adapted classic works and fairy tales. If you’re interested, check out the examples on the Franklang site.
